Many petitions have been made for the ban of AI music over the past few years of AI’s life. Some people have even sued for counterfeit albums being made by AI.

The artist known as Breaking Rust is an actual artist, and on Spotify, he has over 2 million followers. He also has 35,ooo followers on Instagram. At first, people thought this artist made his own music until a man by the name of Jason Palamara, who is an Assistant Professor of Music Technology at the University of Indiana, said that “After listening to ‘Walk My Walk’ one time, it was pretty obviously a product of AI.” He also stated that the song has a very odd digital shimmer.

This is an issue that many people have taken offense to; some people were even making AI slop videos about the music that Breaking Rust has put out. These people are even claiming that the views and followers are also AI.
