Hello Cougars and we hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We are right back at it with Winter sports all week.
Wednesday, 12/4- The boys soccer team will host Palo Verde. Game times are 4 pm for the JV and 6pm for the Varsity. The girls soccer team will travel to Palo Verde for a 5pm match.
Friday, 12/6- The girls basketball team will play at home vs. Cienega. Game times are 4, 5:30 and 7pm. The boys’ basketball team will travel to Cienega. The Boys Soccer team will travel to CDO for games at 4 and 6pm.
The wrestling team will be traveling to Pueblo High School for the William Bell Tournament today and Saturday.

Please remember to drop off your gift unwrapped in the bin next to the tree by December 12th. Everyone who donates will be entered for a chance to win a free winter formal ticket and also invited to a special pizza party.

Seniors, the FAFSA application is now open for you to fill out to see if you qualify for money for college. If you would like help with the FAFSA please join us for FAFSA FRIDAYS. Come by the College and Career Center in room 122 at any time on Fridays. No appointment is needed, just ask your teacher for a pass to the College and Career Center. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Haynes.
A big congratulations to our boys basketball team who took first place at the Coach McConnell tournament over Thanksgiving weekend. Great job boys!
Attention Cougars! Sahuaro is hosting a food drive until December 13. Students can bring in non perishable items: some examples are: rice, beans, pasta, canned fruits and veggies, snacks, and many others – nothing that will spoil or need refrigeration. Please bring those items to your 1st or 2nd period classes, OR room 301.Thanks so much for helping others in our community with food insecurity over the holidays!
Winter Formal tickets are now for sale! The cost for Pre-sale for tickets is $100 for couples and $55 for singles. The presale will end on December 19. If you would like to bring a guest, you must first have a guest form filled out before you can purchase tickets. Guest forms can be found in the acitivites office with Ms Evie.
