Here are your Daily Announcements for Thursday, January 16th, 2025

On Friday, and Saturday January 17th and 18th our Wrestling team will travel to Flowing Wells for an Invitational. Also on Friday, our Girls Basketball team will travel to Walden Grove High School for games at 5:30 and 7:00 pm. Our Boys Basketball team will host Walden Grove with games at 4:00, 5:30 and 7pm. The Boys Soccer team will play at home vs. Douglas High School at 4:00 and 6:00pm. The Girls Soccer team will travel to Douglas for a 6:00 pm matchup.
On Monday, January 20th we do not have school to celebrate the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., however, our girls’ basketball team will play at the University of Arizona’s McKale Center Arena at 6pm vs. Mica Mountain High School. We will also celebrate our Football Coach-Al Alexander with the MLK Honoree award at halftime. We hope to see you there.
If you are interested in playing a Spring Sport, like Softball, Baseball, Boys Volleyball, Tennis, or Track and Field, it is not too early to turn in your physical and complete the ATS paperwork. If you have questions, please come by the Activities office.
Winter Formal tickets are still available for purchase! Winter formal is on Friday January 24th. The cost for tickets is $100 for couples and $55 for singles. If you would like to bring a guest, you must first have a guest form filled out before you can purchase tickets. Guest forms can be found in the activities office with Ms. Evie.
Winter spirit week is almost done! We would love to see you all participate and show off your school spirit. Thursday- High School Stereotypes. Friday is class colors! Freshmen in Yellow, Sophomores in Blue, Juniors in Red and Seniors you are in Green!
Do you ever feel lost or out of place? Ever wondered what it means to be Christian? The Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets in the Library on Thursdays during Lunch and would like to invite you to come and discover what it means to be a follower of God. You don’t have to be an Athlete or a Christian to attend, everyone is welcome at FCA. If you have questions, see Coach Haynes in the Counseling Offices.
Seniors, the FAFSA application is now open for you to fill out to see if you qualify for money for college. If you would like help with the FAFSA please join us for FAFSA FRIDAYS. Come by the College and Career Center in room 122 at any time on Fridays. No appointment is needed, just ask your teacher for a pass to the College and Career Center.
