Hello Cougars,
We hope that you had a nice Spring Holiday weekend and are ready to root on your Cougars to victory this week.
On Thursday, April 24th, the Boys Volleyball team will travel to Walden Grove for games starting at 4:30 and 5:30 pm.
On Friday, April 25th, the track and field team will travel to Mountain View High School for an Invitational meet beginning at 10:00 am. The baseball and softball team will host Sabino at 4:00 pm. The JV boys volleyball team will travel to Sabino for a 4:30 game.
A HUGE Congratulations to our Track and Field Team for winning the TUSD Cup for the second year in a row. They are the Tucson Unified School District’s #1 Track and Field team.
Attention! All girls that are interested in playing Flag Football, please meet in the Dance Room TODAY at the beginning of lunch for an informational meeting.
Just a reminder that you cannot have food delivered to the school. Any deliveries will be sent back, and there will be consequences.
Attention Seniors! Prom tickets are available for purchase in the finance office, ticket prices from now until the day of prom are $75 for singles, $140 for couples. Outside guests are allowed, you must first have a guest form filled out. Forms can be found in the activities office with Ms. Evie. For more information, please see Mrs. Trujillo in room 101 or check out our Instagram @sahuaro.stuco, and remember this is a Senior class prom! Non-Seniors can attend by invite only. BE ADVISED: Bags are welcome inside the dance; they will be subject to search before entry.
Sahuaro’s National Honors Society is hosting a food bank from April 15th to May 6th. Please support our community by donating what you can. Please make sure you plan to bring food that is non-perishable, in plastic, cardboard, or cans. And that the products are not contaminated or damaged. Also, ensure food items include the product’s name. We recommend donating food items such as canned vegetables, fruits, and peanuts. The boxes to place your donations will be in the admin office and Mr. Hemmo’s room. Thank you for your contribution to solving world hunger with us!
Do you have any gently used books that you don’t want? Donate them to The Sahuaro Book Club annual book drive. We are collecting gently used books to be given away at Spring Fling. You may drop your donations off at the library. If you have any questions, ask your English teacher or Ms. Krieg in the library.
