They did this by using the DNA sequence for mammoth myoglobin. The myoglobin is the part of the protein that holds the genetic data as well as gives the food flavor and color. According to The Smithsonian Magazine this meatball has yet to be eaten.” Tim Noakesmith, a co-founder of Vow says,” We wanted to get people excited about the future of food being different to potentially what we had before.”

Alaskan pilot, Joseph Emerson, was on route late October when he “had not slept for 40 hours and had discussed using psychedelic mushrooms,”, according to ABC News. Emerson was acting normal before saying, “I’m not OK.” According to prosecutors he next went “to grab and pull two red fire handles that would have activated the plane’s emergency fire suppression system and cut off fuel to its engines.” Emerson was unable to pull them due to another pilot intervening. The other pilots’ quick thoughtful actions ensured the engine did not lose power and everyone landed safely. Emerson was arrested in Portland and charged with 83 counts of murder.

A wild bull ran along the tracks at Newark Penn Station and delayed trains a December morning. Although they are unsure where the bull came from, it is now living at an animal sanctuary in Sussex County. “Our showstopper bull, Ricardo, is safe at his new home, Skylands Animal Sanctuary,” NJ Transit said in a tweet on Friday morning. Ricardo the bull put on such a show that Ricardo plushies are now being sold on NJ’s website to help the animal sanctuary raise money.

Flaco the Eurasian eagle owl had been living in Central Park Zoo where he was on exhibit for 13 years. He is now in the wild after fleeing because his home was vandalized. Flaco was living at Central Park for the last 9 months since his escape until he decided to head to the Lower East Side neighborhood located Downtown of New York. Everyone is worried about Flaco however according to The Guardian News,”… he gradually showed the world he could catch rats in the park and his flying became stronger, eventually prompting the zoo to abandon its efforts at recapture.”

According to multiple sources the United States and China’s dynamic was rocked when animosity arose from the accusation of the spy ballon being theirs. An amusement park ride turned to a nightmare for many thrill seekers. Located in Canadas Wonderland theme park in Vaughn Ontario. The Lumberjack ride contains two hydraulic arms shaped as axes that swing back and forth occasionally propelling into a full 360 swing. Both of the axes stopped moving and suspended the passengers upside down, 75 feet above the ground for nearly 30 minutes. Eventually the park workers were able to get the ride going again without anyone being hurt!
