Tessa Skillicorn, Reporter
Tessa Skillicorn is now a senior at Sahuaro High School, having spent the entire four years here. She hasn’t been too involved in Sahuaro’s many extracurricular activities, but she has still made many amazing memories here. One of the extracurricular activities she became involved in was Sahuaro’s Culinary class, and she is now in the 2nd-year advanced class. She likes the teacher (Mr. Aaron) and the easy-going class; it’s a good environment for meeting people and learning things that apply to real life.
Tessa spends her free time with her friends, family, and her pets. Her family is very important to her as they taught her many things and helped shape her as a person. Some of her hobbies include cooking, discovering new music and new artists, and retail therapy. If you see Tessa out, chances are she is shopping or with her friends, or both. She also likes to go to the gym and adores the beach or any tropical destination. She plans to travel as much as possible in her adult years.
Speaking of adult years, now that Tessa is a senior, she is looking at future possibilities and plans. As of now, Tessa has a part-time job at Coldstone Creamery and has been working for about 6 months. Since working there, she has seen a different side of herself and realizes she is very extroverted and enjoys socializing with the many different people that come into her work. Tessa plans to get into massage therapy/acupuncture in the future, and wants to make it her career. She has always been very interested in holistic healing and wants to start school for it after she graduates.
