Nola Patino, Editor
Sophomore, Nola Patino, is excited for her second year in The Paper Cut. She enjoys both reading and writing and looks forward to another year as a part of the school newspaper. Her goals for this year are to sharpen her writing skills and step outside of her comfort zone by meeting new people. She believes it is essential to be involved, which is why she will participate in soccer and is looking to join other clubs and extracurricular activities.
Nola was born and raised in Tucson, but plans to move to Flagstaff, Arizona, in the future. She wants to move somewhere with cooler weather while also staying close to home. Her day-to-day life consists of school, work, and going to the gym. She likes to stay busy while also leaving time to spend alone or with her family. During her small amount of free time, she enjoys baking, shopping, sleeping, and spending time with her friends. Being more introverted, she likes to keep a small circle.
Since she was 5 years old, she has taken part in various community service projects. Out of all the services she has done, she has enjoyed caring for animals the most. Nola has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember, and she finds comfort in being around them. She is passionate, creative, caring, and always looking forward to trying new things.
