Service Saturday Cleans Up Our Campus
September 28, 2016
Saturday the 17th, Service Saturday was held here at Sahuaro. During this time about 40 people (students and teachers) helped tidy up the campus. Clubs like NHS, Interact Club, and Student Council attended and did a wonderful job. Everything from sweeping, pulling weeds, cleaning windows, picking up dead leaves, scrubbing stairwells, and cleaning tables was done. Everyone who came worked hard and did an awesome job, even with the sun beating on their skin. This event was a great turnout.
As beautiful as the campus looked, the school quickly became trashed again. These people and our custodians work hard to keep Sahuaro a clean environment and it seems too many don’t care about our campus. No one appreciates people who leave their trash everywhere, expecting others to clean up after them. Please Cougars, pick up after yourself!
