Travis Kelce Pops The Question!

August 26th, 2025, Taylor Swift posted her engagement photos with her boyfriend of almost two years, Travis Kelce.

Travis made the first move, showing up at her July 26, 2023, show at Arrowhead Stadium with a bracelet bearing his phone number. The two began dating in the Fall of 2023, with Taylor making her first public appearance alongside his mom at his September 24th game against the Chicago Bears.

The relationship was confirmed when, during an Eras Tour show on November 11th, Taylor made a lyric change from “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me ” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” And of course, Taylor was present for his 2024 Super Bowl game against the San Fransico 49ers.

On June 23rd, 2024, during a London Eras Tour show, Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance as a dancer during her song, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”. This was a huge surprise for fans, as it was her first boyfriend to ever appear on stage with her (besides Taylor Lautner, a decade after their breakup). Speaking of surprises, on Wednesday, August 13th, Taylor announced her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on Jason and Travis’s podcast, “New Heights.”

13 days later… Taylor Swift posted 5 of her engagement photos with Travis Kelce, with the caption being: “Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married .” The post received 33 million likes so far, and almost 10 million shares. This is the biggest pop culture news at the moment, even ESPN sent out a push notification!

Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, revealed, “Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago,” making the date right around when the podcast aired. Many fans theorize that he proposed after the episode was filmed. He proposed in a garden in his house in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Ed shares that he has known about Kelce’s plans to propose and expected him to pop the question during the last NFL season.

Thousands of news sources, social media accounts, and celebrities have expressed happiness for Taylor and Travis, and we wish them the absolute best in their marriage and life!

This past summer, Nya (and her camera) traveled to many places, such as Phoenix for a journalism camp at ASU, to New Mexico to celebrate her cousin’s engagement, and even to Florida to visit her hometown. She spent her whole summer taking pictures of everywhere she visited, and she can’t wait to do it again next year. Nya’s favorite hobby is photography; if she can take her camera somewhere, she’s coming home with at least 50 photos. Nya is taking a Dental Assisting program at Santa Rita High School in hopes of working as a Dental Assistant throughout college. She dreams of going to a university out of state and majoring in Biology while also continuing to cheer. Her ultimate goal is to one day become a Pediatric Orthodontist who photographs cheer competitions on the side!
