Are you curious about where to spend your lunch when it’s too hot? Are you looking for somewhere quiet to study or make up for missing work? Look no further, the library is finally open during lunch again! “It’s something we do every year, we wait for the beginning of the year to settle down. It’s hot, so kids like to hang in here to cool down,” says Sahuro’s librarian, Mrs. Krieg. Not only is it a way to escape the heat, Mrs. Krieg has a bunch of games to play with your friends as well. She also said, “It’s a great place to hang out, it’s quiet and cool in the summer, and we have activities to do. Students can also read and catch up on work. We have UNO, board games, and LEGOs to use during lunch.”
But what requirements do you need to make in order to use the library during lunch? Mrs. Krieg said, “Anytime before a student’s lunch, you can come into the library and fill out a Google form! Once that’s completed, you can get a pass.” This easy process opens the door to a new way of spending your lunch. Whether it’s to catch up on work, or enjoy an air-conditioned room, spending your lunch in the library is a great way to grow your knowledge and have fun! The library’s comfortable chairs, activities, and books are waiting for you. Thank you Mrs. Krieg for the invitation to enjoy both interesting reads and fun activities!
