“Gentlemen, ladies, what if Superman had decided to fly down, rip off the roof of the White House, grab the president right out of the Oval Office… Who would have stopped him?”  The new trailer for the  highly anticipated movie, Suicide Squad, opens up with this quote delivered by David Harbour, who looks to play a high ranking government official. Those words where the first heard in any trailer for Suicide Squad to mention another character in the DC universe. This makes it official that DC is building a cinematic universe, similar to Marvel’s billion dollar one. To add upon the mention of The Man of Steel himself, Batman is shown multiple times throughout the new trailer.

First revealed  back on July 13, 2015 at the San Diego comicon, without a doubt, anticipation is now even higher. With this brand new trailer, fans are going wild. With the second trailer release, fans loved the humor put in it. With so much well reception to the humor, Warner Brother Picture did reshoots to put in more of what the fans loved.

The suicide squad is an elite task force, recruited by a government agency, originally know as ‘Task Force X’. It was soon called The Suicide Squad. Those in the group were carrying out tasks, probably leading to death. The force is based on mostly anti-villains from many different DC Comics, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Dead Shot (Will Smith), Capitan Boomerang(Jai Courtney), Enchantress(Cara Deleingne) , Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Katana(Karen Fukuhara), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), and Slipknot(Adam Baach).

The movie brings so much anticipation, but sadly there’s a while to wait. The movie won’t reach theaters till August 5, 2016, but hopefully the wait will be worth it! Until then if you’re dying to watch an action packed  super hero movie be sure to catch Captain America Civil War on May 6th.
