Loft Film Festival

The Loft Film Festival is a huge showing of many genres of films, including but not limited to: romance, sci-fi, and historical fiction. 20th Anniversary Car Show

Baker’s Auto Machine

For all of Tucson’s car lovers, Baker’s Auto Machine is celebrating their 2oth anniversary, on Saturday, November 20th. They are asking for people to bring their cars, trucks, and bikes. There is no registry needed, and they especially want those vehicles with engines they have built. The Porch Rockers are the featured band, and there is going to be food and prizes.

Thunder and Lightning Over Arizona Air Show

On November 6th and 7th, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, is Tucson’s air show featuring skydivers, the Aftershock Jet Fire Truck, and tons of crazy flight shows. There is even going to be an area for the kiddos, with Thunderbird-themed attractions including bounce house, obstacle courses, and a trackless train. General Admission tickets will be free, but there are also V.I.P seating for a better view.

Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Hyland Games

November 6th-7th

This Saturday and Sunday, the Celtic Festival and Scottish Hyland Games are being held at Rillito Raceway Park. There is going to be music, dancing, stories, and more. For the kids, there is going to be a youth competition for ages 7-13 with caber toss, weight over bar, weight for distance, sheaf toss, and Braemar stone. The best part for the kids, is its all free! For the other events, prices vary, but aren’t more that $45 for everything.

Hyland Vista Porchfest and Food Truck Roundup

November 7th

Porches turned into concert venues, music, meet and greets, and FOOD! Its all included in the Hyland Vista Porchfest and Food Truck Roundup, located at Hyland Vista Park.

Sahuarita Chalk Art Festival

November 13th

At Sahuarita Lake Park, the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance is encouraging artist to come on down and create some art. (Chalk art) There will be an art competition for the community, and a winner from each of the three categories are going to be feature on social media, and given a $1oo gift card. Register before the event or, the day of. There are also going to be featured artist creating a 6 by 6 piece original work of art, in the limit of just 5 hours. Each piece will be based on the newest Sahuarita Parks Coloring book.

Tour de Tucson

November 20th

Its the 38th anniversary of the Tour de Tucson, a bike ride that builds community, while raising money for charities along the way. El Tour has now raised 101 million dollars since 1983, and continues to grow our community. There several different race options ranging from a 28-mile, to a 100-mile. Registration prices for those 17 and under are $40, and for adults, it’s $195. You can also volunteer at the race to help the charities.

American Indian Heritage Month Social and Craft Market

November 26th-28th

This month is Native American Heritage Month, and in celebration there is going to be a social and craft market. Admissions are free as well as parking, and there will be a display of arts, crafts, demonstrations of their songs, and dances. The experience is deeply rooted in culture, and will help to continue to keep the 10,000-year-old culture alive for generations to come. Make sure to bring your own camera!
