Q: Where do you buy your clothes?

A: Most of my clothes come from Forever 21 and like h&m because they have cheap clothes that are pretty easy to wear. I mainly like to express my style through my hats and sneakers, so when it comes to hats I always find independent brands that aren’t too popular and I’ll cop something from them, they always tend to have dope stuff that no one else around really has.

Q: What is your favorite brand or style?

A: I don’t necessarily have a favorite brand, but my favorite style is just kinda street wear. I’m not gonna lie, a lot of my style inspiration comes from like Chris Brown and Travis Scott. I see them wearing a certain fit or style and I’ll try to kinda recreate it, whether it be the same colors or same style jackets or whatever.

Q: What trends do you love? Which do you hate?

A: Trends I rock with are probably the flannel trend, I own so many flannels, don’t get me wrong it’s weird if you wear them everyday, but I do have a lot of options. A trend I don’t rock with is the fitted hats – everyone and their mama wanna rock fitted hats all of a sudden. The hats aren’t what bother me, it’s who’s wearing them, everyone is wearing them. Some folk wear them too big, some wear them weirdly, and some just can’t pull em off, they just wear it cause everyone else rockin them right now.

Q: What is the ugliest piece of clothing that you own?

A: The ugliest piece of clothing I own is probably this orange and yellowish baseball jersey. I got it from Forever 21 and I don’t know why, I thought it was cool at the time, and I think I wore it for the first day of sophomore year, but now I look at it and I hate it. I think I only wore it like twice since I bought it like 2 years ago.

Q: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

A: As far as getting ready in the morning, it just depends on if I already planned my fit for the day.  If I planned it, I can be ready in like 15-20 minutes, but if I got no idea or if I really wanna put together a fit then it takes a while. I be taking long showers, then I gotta find a fit, I usually just throw stuff on and see what works but by doing that it be having my room messy as heck.

Q: What has been your favorite role that you’ve played? Why?
A: My favorite role ever was a flamboyantly gay man named Brandon who was trying to “act straight” in a speed dating game, but reveals that he’s actually 100% gay. It was a fun character to play, and I had to really learn how to act the character because I had never done a role like that before.

Q: What is the meanest thing you’ve done to someone?

A: I can’t even tell you the worst thing I’ve done, because unfortunately there’s a lengthy list. When I saw this question numerous answers popped up and a lot of regrets from various situations. I just know that no one is perfect and we all have our moments, but if we can take the time to self reflect and realize our mistakes, we can grow from them. I live by the saying that “people should not be judged by their past but challenged by their future.”

Q: Who brightens your day?

A: I’d probably start with my family, friends, and of course my dog. My puppy, Simmons, is a big sweet Pit Bull that just always seems to brighten my day. I can’t do anything without him, from hikes to fetch I truly believe in “man’s best friend.” Also my soccer and football team mates, they’re always there, in any situation, we always seem to have each others’ backs. That is something I will always cherish. I have also felt a specific sense of joy with social media star, Rodney Norman.
