What Briefly Gives Me Serotonin

A Couch. An inanimate object that I am possessive over and will not let a single person lay on. This specific couch is very comfortable, and if I’m in not my room, it’s likely I’m taking a nap on this couch. If I find out some being is on the couch, they must have a death wish.

One of the things that has given me serotonin is traveling, precisely to Vietnam. When visiting the motherland a few years ago, I felt a much closer connection to my culture and background. I’m manifesting myself traveling to Vietnam once again in the future.

I’m very much an amateur when it comes to crocheting. When trying to figure out the gibberish the instructions are giving, it can get quite confusing. HOWEVER, once I get into the groove of the current project, the stitching process is very satisfying. The final product gives me much joy!

Before you think I am a materialist, hear me out. I’m a huge lover of fashion, and jewelry truly ties outfits together. Me wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt is “not bad.” But once I compliment my outfit with jewelry here and there? *Chef’s kiss* Especially when I see others wearing jewelry it’s quite flattering, if you know what I mean.

Oh, how I truly can never get sick of her cooking. Though I have projected my concern for my mom whos cooked multiple different meals in a week, I will not leave a single crumb behind, no regrets. No restaurant or Gordon Ramsey meal can surpass my mother’s meals. No arguments.

Air fryers are said to be a healthier option to cook foods in, thus, convincing me I eat healthily. Even though I’m pretty much the only person in my family who uses the air fryer, the air fryer is reliable and useful. Air fryer = Paula lying to herself.

Screaming chicken. That’s it. The epitome of Paula. I’m not a woman of many words, but the chicken is clear imagery of myself.

The thought of meeting Stray Kids, the loves of my life, to this day at a concert is surreal. The one time I spent money without caring about the consequences. What I would give to see a performance from them. Stray Kids’ music and their personality are one of the few things that give me serotonin in my brain.

My dog Mi Goi can just wink at me and I’m going to automatically simp for her. Though I know she and I share the same brain cells, she purposely does things in front of me that will definitely irritate me. Mi Goi and I have a love-hate relationship, but I would never change anything about her and her goblin ways.

There’s something about boba drinks that make me want to bust a move. There are too many types of drinks out there in the world, but the taste of this drink… the texture of the boba really ties in with each other.
