The TikTok famous song, “WAP” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, got over 26 million views in its first day. It broke the record for the biggest 24-hour debut for an all female song and for the biggest U.lS. debut on Youtube. In one week, “WAP” had 55 million views.

“WHATS POPPIN” by Jack Harlow reached the top 10 in Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Not only that, but it rose to the 7th spot on Hot Rap Songs and the 21st on Billboard Hot 100. The album this single is from, “Sweet Action,” also debuted at number 25 in the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in March.

“A Little Bit Off” by Five Finger Death Punch was their second single off their eighth record, “F8”. In June, it topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Loudwire name it one of the best rock songs of 2020. The music video has over 16,000,000 views and estimates to reach 20,000,000 by 2021.

“Level of Concern” by Twenty One Pilots entered the Billboard Hot 100 in its first week at number 23. With 10.6 million streams and 12,000 downloads, the single is their second-highest debut on the chart. In its first week, it was at number 6 on the U.S. Spotify Streaming Chart.

“More Than My Hometown” by Morgan Wallen is the leading single off his second album titled “Dangerous: The Double Album”. The song has had over 23,000,000 streams on Youtube since August.

“Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyonce is Megan’s first and Beyonce’s eighth number-one. The song topped the Digital Songs chart and sold 30,000 downloads. Along with being a huge hit, it became a craze all over TikTok.

“Dynamite” by K-Pop band BTS debuted with over 7 million streams on Spotify on its first day being released. It is marketed as the biggest opening day for a song in 2020. In its 3rd week, the single reached number one on the Global 200 chart.

“10,000 Hours” by country pop duo Dan + Shay featuring Justin Bieber was released four days after Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber got married. The single debuted at the number four spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and became the highest charting non-holiday country song, beating out Florida Georgia Line’s single, “Cruise”. It has over 650 million global views and more than 1.7 U.S. hits to this date.

“Rockstar” by Grammy-nominated rapper DaBaby featuring Roddy Ricch reached the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in its seventh week after being released. It soon became DaBaby’s first chart-topper and Roddy Ricch’s second chart-topper. There were 43.7 million U.S. streams as of the first week of July 2020.

“Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd blew up this year. It has over 360,000,000 views on Youtube. His album “After Hours” had 444,000 sales in the U.S. as well as 221 million streams and 275,000 copies sold as of March 2020.
