On September 24th, Zayn Malik- singer and former One Direction member and Gigi Hadid- model, announced the birth of their baby via Instagram and Twitter.

Malik and Hadid first started their public relationship in 2015, debuting their love through Zayn Malik’s music video ‘Pillow talk’ which starred Hadid. This was also Malik’s debut solo career after leaving the wildly famous boy band One Direction.

After their relationship was publicized, they become an on-and-off couple. They were assumed as broken until paparazzi images would surface where Hadid would leave Malik’s apartment in New York.

Gigi Hadid announced her pregnancy after rumors were spreading through social media. She recalls on an Instagram live “There’s my belly y’all” and ever since then, fans have been so excited to see! During her pregnancy, she’d post pictures of her belly bump, and even retorted back on a comment British Vogue had made about her trying to “Hide her belly”. She states, “I would be proud and happy to share ‘insight’ when I feel like it, thanks.”

After the baby was born, Zayn took to Twitter to announce it as well. “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x”

The couple has yet to show the baby or reveal the name, however; they are enjoying their time with their baby rather than posting it on social media. Gigi says, “For now I am proudly experiencing and sharing this time with my family and loved ones.”
