NHS Meeting
January 8, 2020
NHS (National Honors Society) met on January 14th to discuss many things for the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year. Each NHS member must complete a certain amount of community service hours – many volunteers at the Humane Society, participate in food drives, and even help clean around the school.
Each member is separated into a specific group which will then come up with ideas for fundraisers, food drives, blood drives, etc. The meeting only lasted about 35 minutes in which time NHS leaders spoke about the new community service hours and tutoring hours. On Thursdays, everyone is welcome into the library to get help from an NHS member or simply do their homework quietly.
The next NHS meeting is still undetermined will soon be announced.
