Nine Student Athletes Sign

On April 9th, Sahuaro athletics held a small signing ceremony for 9 students of the class of 2019 who have committed to continuing their sport at the next level in colleges across America.

- Kingsley Ugwu- Football – Hutchinson Community College
- Lourdes Heslep- Basketball- Arizona Christian University
- Susana Heslep- Basketball- Arizona Christian University
- Trayvion White- Track and Field- Central Arizona College
- Kemuel (KJ) Redlin- Tennis- Pima Community College
- Alaysha Grissette- Volleyball- Dodge City College
- Emilio Gonzalez- Baseball- Presentation College
Alaysha Grissette will be attending Dodge City College which is located in Dodge City, Kansas. There, she will be playing volleyball while majoring in science. “I will also be coaching a club team that my coach is in charge of. I’m most excited to leave Arizona and live life on my own without my parents. Also I’m excited to play volleyball at a higher level.” Congratulations to Alaysha and good luck out there.
Lourdes and Susana Heslep, twins from a quadruplet birth, will be attending Arizona Christian University which is located in Glendale, Arizona. Lourdes Heslep will be majoring in becoming an IT technologist. “I’m excited about starting a new chapter in my life, and being able to continue to play the sport I love!” Susana Heslep plans on joining Journalism or becoming a blogger. “I’m super excited to continue playing basketball, the sport I love to play!” Susana and Lourdes seem to really love basketball. Kingsley Ugwu will be attending Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. Kingsley plans on majoring in engineering or something law-oriented and to of course play football. He is most excited about “Being on my own for a little.” Kingsley has a bright future ahead of him.
