Foo Fighters Perform on Specially Built Stage
February 18, 2019
Foo Fighters had the privilege of getting to perform on Super Bowl eve in Atlanta; the event is entitled Super Saturday Night. A 100-foot tall venue was built for the occasion, just to tear it down the very next day. Almost 29,000 feet of steel beams and 65,000 feet of cable was required. Only 6,000 tickets were sold for the ground floor, and there were elevated levels specially made for VIP and corporate hospitality.
For the 13th year in a row, DirecTV put on this shebang. Foo Fighters were the headliners, along with Run the Jewels as a special guest and performed at 10 p.m. To advertise the performance, Dave Grohl, the frontman of Foo Fighters, created a funny video that was uploaded to YouTube.
