Who doesn’t love music? All of the world’s greatest musical stars were dressed to the best and ready to impress for the annual Grammy’s award show. On Sunday Febuary 10, 2019, an array of performances, tributes, and awards were given. Here are some of the best moments from the 61st Grammy’s Award Shows.

1 – Drake Showing Up to the Awards Show and Giving a Speech.

Drake is known for not liking award shows or wanting to accept any sort of trophy for his work. With an unexpected GRAMMY visit, Drake received an award for “Best Rap Song” for “God’s Plan”. Even though his acceptance speech got cut off, the fact that he showed up and was so welcoming shocked many.

2-Lady Gaga Receiving Her Well Earned Grammy. 

Lady Gaga made the stage glow! After delivering a strong and hearty vocal performance, she accepted two awards , Best Pop/Duo Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media for her and Bradley Cooper’s song “Shallow” from the hit movie “A Star Is Born”.

3- Janelle Monae’s Prince Tribute 

Janelle Monae offered an exhilarating performance with Cardi B. Janelle’s fit was Prince inspired along with her choreography and music chance.

4- Dolly Parton, H.E.R, Miley Cyrus Take The Stage 

The artist H.E.R , nominated for Best Upcoming Artist, Dolly Parton, and Miley Cyrus delivered an amazing performance in honor of Dolly Parton’s works and music through her career and lifetime. Dolly stunned in a white lacy dress with her signature hairdo.

5- Honoring Aretha Franklin

Yolanda Adams, Fantasia, and Andra Day took the stage to sing in honor of Aretha Frankin. Since the awards ceremony was before the upcoming tribute special on March 10, the Queen Of Soul was still remembered.

6-Michelle Obama Opening Up the Ceremony

“Whether we like country or rap or rock, music helps us share ourselves, our dignity and sorrows, our hopes and joys. It allows us to hear one another, to invite each other in.” Michelle Obama reminded all the viewers that music is an inclusive art. It doesn’t matter who, what, or where you are, music is the universal language.
