Aretha Franklin was an American singer, songwriter, civil rights activist, actress, and pianist until her death on August 16, 2018. Aretha first started her career as a child singing gospel at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, where her father C.L. Franklin was minister.

Tim Bergling known as Avicii. He was a Swedish musician, DJ, remixer, and record producer. He retired from touring in 2016 due to health problems, having suffered stress and poor mental health for many years and later died April 20, 2018 due to suicide.

Barbara Bush was the former first lady of the U.S. from 1989-1993 and died April 17, 2018. She was the wife of George H.W. Bush and the founder of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. Among her six children two of them were in the government. George W. Bush was the 43rd president of the U.S. and Jeb Bush was the 43rd governor of Florida. “Barbara Bush was a fabulous First Lady and a woman unlike any other who brought levity, love, and literacy to millions,” said her son, George W. Bush.

Burt Reynolds was an American actor, director, and producer who died September 6, 2018. He first started in the television series Gunsmoke, Hawk, and Dan August.

Dolores O’Riordan was an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. She was the vocalist for a rock band “The Cranberries” from 1990 until the band’s break-up in 2003, later the band reunited in 2009 which she led until her death on January 15, 2018

George H.W. Bush was an American politician who served as the 41st president of the U.S. from 1989-1993 and died November 30, 2018. He was married to Barbara Bush and together they had 6 children. As a member of the Republican party, he had previously been a Congressman, Ambassador, and Director of Central Intelligence. Stan Lee was an American comic book writer, editor, and publisher. He was responsible for the Marvel Universe movies and received many awards. Stan Lee died November 12, 2018. Stephen Hillenburg was an American animator, cartoonist, and marine biology teacher. He was greater known as the creator of the Nickelodeon television series “SpongeBob SquarePants” and died November 26, 2018.

Jahseh Onfrey, known as XXXTentacion, was an American rapper, singer and songwriter from 2013 until June 18, 2018 when he was shot during an apparent robbery. XXXTentacion was an amazing artist and many young fans loved him. A quote from him said “The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from enemies, it comes from those you trust the most.”
