In Mishawaka, Indiana 17 year-old Breana Rouhselang was killed by her boyfriend, Aaron Trejo, after fighting about her pregnancy. Trejo told the police that she waited 6 months too long to tell him about her pregnancy, so an abortion was no longer an option. Investigators found her dead and covered in a black trash bag in a dumpster behind a restaurant in Mishawaka. Before that, they found what seemed to be her glasses, a stocking cap covered in blood, and residue of her blood nearby her house which is what steered them in the direction of her body.

Trejo was locked up the day of his crime: Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at the St. Joseph’s County Jail. He was charged with murder and feticide. The school’s superintendent, Dean Speicher, said, “They’ve known each other long before they came together – she as a manager and he as a football player – at Mishawaka High School.” Also, the school took part in a moment of silence Monday morning in honor of Breana.
