Spooky Season Scary Stories

Don’t we all love Spooky Season? You can watch a variety of movies, from The Nightmare Before Christmas to The Conjuring, cuddle up with your boo (or your dog), and drink a lovely pumpkin spice latte. I’ve been doing research on some of the scariest Halloween stories out there, and here are just a few of the most chilling stories I could find:

Story #1: A little girl (who never obeyed her parents) one day told them she wanted to meet the witch that lived in the woods, her parents told her to do no such thing that the witch was an evil creature but of course she didn’t listen. She skipped all the way over there with a big smile on her face (she really wanted to meet the old women). Once she got there she peeked through the window too see if the witch was home. All she saw was a ugly, scary, hooded figure. It seemed as if the creatures pitch black eyes could look into your soul. The little girl was so frightened she turned around to go straight home but when she did the old lady was right there.

“Hello dear.” said the old women with a fake smile.

“Hello.” said the little girl a little frightened. “I was most frightened when I saw that awful creature through your window.”

“Ohh no dear, that is a witch in her truest form and I’ve been waiting for you for a long time!

“And now you shall give me light!” laughed the witch and tapped the little girl on the head turning her into a block of wood.

“Ahh I haven’t gotten such great light in a long time.”  said the witch as she watched a block of wood burn in he living room chimney.

Story #2: One afternoon Billy came home from school very exhausted and ready for dinner,

“Mom, I’m home!” he called out.

“Where are you?” he said after no response.

“Up hear! said his mother from upstairs. Billy ran up stair eager to see his mom. When all of a sudden the front door to the house opened.

“Billy, are you home?” called his mother.

Story #3: One night a group of friends was having a Halloween party and of course (as usual) the where telling scary stories. It was Josh’s turn and he told all his friends that at midnight if you step on a grave the corpse will come out and drag you with him.

“Yea, well I don’t believe you!” said Trish (a snobby girl in a princess dress). Josh was very disappointed Trish didn’t believe him so he said, “Fine then at midnight lets go to the graveyard so you can stand on a grave.” he handed her a fork.

“Ohh and here take this, put it on the grave you step on so you can prove you did it.”

“Fine” said Trish, and just like that the group of friends was off to the graveyard. As they got closer Trish started to feel a bit scared. They got to the graveyard and without looking back Trish went in. Everyone else waited for her by the entrance. Trish was on her way to pick a grave when all of a sudden something moved… or did it? She was sure of it, but maybe it was her imagination. She picked one fast and turned around to go back but something was holding on to her. It was pulling her down, it was a corpse. The last thing she felt was the dirt.

Hours passed and Trish didn’t return, her friends went in to find her only to find her fainted to a grave, and a fork stuck to her dress.
