Two years later on May 9th, 2018: Ariana Grande and Mac Miller have broken up. “I can’t wait to know and support you forever and I’m so proud of you.”, Ariana wrote on her Instagram story confirming their split.

May 12th, 2018: Ariana Grande was photographed at an SNL after-party and was reportedly holding Pete’s cloud shaped phone case. However, many people say she could’ve just brought the same one.

May 16th, 2018: Pete Davidson announced he had broken up with his girlfriend, Cazzie David. And a day after, Pete posted a picture on Instagram of a new cloud tattoo he got on his finger with close resemblance to his phone, and Ariana posted a cloud emoji on Instagram. Suspicious right?

May 21st, 2018: US Weekly came out with news that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were “casually dating”. Neither of the two posted any confirmations but Ariana liked several comments made by fans showing how excited they were to hear the news.

May 24th, 2018: Ariana and Pete started to exchange all kinds of Instagram comments. Trolls started to talk bad about Ariana and said she could never be in a relationship with someone who had Borderline Personality Disorder or BPD. Pete clapped back by posting a very emotional post saying just because there are people like that, they themselves didn’t turn relationships unsuccessful or toxic.

May 30th, 2018: Pete posts a picture of Ariana and him dressed in Hogwarts robes and captions the photo. “The chamber of secrets has been opened.” That’s when fans finally got the confirmation they were waiting for

June 30th,2018: Pete posted a picture of two new tattoos: one was a bunny mask which came from Ariana’s last album Dangerous Woman. The second, a tattoo of Ariana’s initials.

July 11th,2018: Rumors started to circle that Ariana and Pete were engaged. He later confirmed it on the Jimmy Fallon show and by posting a picture of Ariana cuddling with him and a ring was in full display, he captioned the post, “u know what you’d dream it be like ? it’s better than that.”

July 17th, 2018: Again, rumors started to spread. But this time announcing that Ariana and Pete had moved in together. Ariana Grande posted on her Instagram story (as the good lord intended) a picture of herself on a couch in an empty room with white walls behind her and captioned it, “Us in our new apartment with no furniture 1 speaker and red vines.”

October 14th,2018: News broke out about Ariana and Pete’s split. Sources told news outlets that Ariana needed time to herself.

November 3rd, 2018: Ariana Grande releases single “thank u, next”. The song talks about how grateful she is for her ex and how much she has been taught with each breakup. She confirmed that exes Big Sean and Ricky Alvarez heard the song before it’s release.

Many believed that this was over the death of her long term ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. Ever since Pete and Ariana broke up, unbelievable news has come out such as: “Ariana kicked Pete out of the apartment and she gave Pete her almost a 100,000 dollar ring back”. She kept their pig, however, his name is “Piggy Smalls.” Honestly, I don’t blame her. Now people are saying Pete sold the ring and used the money to purchase 33,333 bags of Takis. Well, the good thing is that they remained friends and said it wasn’t the right time to pursue their relationship. But I mean they got engaged after a couple weeks of being together, so many people saw it coming. I guess we’ll just have to wait for other crazy news about them and time will tell.
