Bad Bunny is the biggest Latin Trap artist out there right now and anyone who has heard of Bad Bunny knows it’s true. He worked at a supermarket as a checkout bagger, but had a big dream of becoming a famous artist one day. He was always very active on SoundCloud because hey, he was an independent artist working at a supermarket trying to get recognized. One of the very first songs that he made was called “Diles” and it got so popular, not only did he bring extreme fame to himself, but also to everyone he worked with. Most people say he brought massive popularity to the Trap music genre.

Ever since then, Bad Bunny quickly became one of the most popular Latin artists in the world, and he’s proudly held his spot for years. He only has a couple singles, and all of his other songs are collabs with other artists. However, every single song he has either collaborated in or created has reached the Latin Top 10 Chart. Recently a year old photo of Bad Bunny with the wax figure of Jimmy Fallon resurfaced and guess what? Days later, Bad Bunny was featured on Jimmy Fallon’s hit show, “The Tonight Show”.

Bad Bunny was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so he doesn’t speak any English. On certain collaborations he’s done with English speaking artists, he has sang about two or three words in English. But on Wednesday night, Bad Bunny had a lot more to say regarding President Trump’s false comments.

On September 20 2017, Puerto Rico suffered from Hurricane Maria. Over 3,000 people died. Recently, Trump posted a Tweet saying, “3,000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000.”

Bad Bunny took the stage September 26, on the Jimmy Fallon show and said this: “After one year of the hurricanes, there’s still people without electricity in their homes. More than 3,000 people died and Trump is still and in denial. But you know what? Estamos bien(We’re good)”. “Estamos Bien” is the name of the song he performed that night and it was also the first lyric. So that’s how he kicked off his performance, the screen background displayed videos of Bad Bunny and his friends took while on a road trip. It was mainly scenery like the beach and San Juan. Afterwards, everyone clapped and cheered, and hey, he got a picture with the real Jimmy Fallon this time.
