Pilot made Passengers Bleed from Ears
September 25, 2018
Thirty passengers traveling from Mumbai to Jaipur, India bled through their ears and noses when the Jet Airways crew forgot to turn on the cabin pressurization system. Partway through the flight, as the plane climbed higher and the air got thinner, some of the plane’s 166 passengers suddenly started to feel sick.
According to OZY, “Passengers reported that the crew did not assist them or keep them informed during the situation.” Instead, oxygen masks just dropped from the ceiling and passengers were not given any instructions.
About 45 minutes into the flight, the plane made a U-turn and headed back to Mumbai for an emergency landing. Those who were affected, were given medical attention right way. The airline spokesperson announced that “all 166 travelers were ‘deplaned safely.'” At least five passengers were taken to the hospital.
While authorities investigate the plane incident the pilots and the cabin crew from the plane have been removed from flight duty.
