Bronx Teen Stabbed to Death
August 15, 2018
On June 20th, 2018 a teenage boy named Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz was murdered by 6 men in Bronx, New York. Junior left his house in the middle of the night to give someone $5, and saw the men following him on his way home. When Junior noticed the men in the cars following him, he ran to the neighborhood store and tried to hide behind the counter, but the owner would not let him go over. The owner finally gave in when he saw the panic and fear on Junior’s face. The 6 men got to Junior and they forcefully dragged him out of the store and started stabbing him on his neck, his stomach, his arms, just basically his whole body, and the violence happened right outside of the grocery store.
When the gang members finished attacking Junior, he got up and asked the people in the store, including the owner to call 911.”Junior didn’t want to die and had no other way to get to the hospital, so he started running just to try and save his own life. Junior arrived at St. Barnadas Hospital, but he didn’t have enough energy to make it inside. He collapsed outside of the hospital with no strength whatsoever. People that knew Junior and saw what had happened to him were panicking, scared, and shocked, they didn’t know how to react or what to do.
That night Junior ended up dying with a lot of loss of blood. His mom and older sister were so heartbroken and devastated because their 15 year old son/brother was murdered by 6 grown men for no good reason. It was all a misunderstanding. Junior wanted to become a police officer for NYPD after high school. He would also go to programs for teens. He loved baseball; his favorite team were the New York Yankees. Junior really did have a bright future ahead of him and it was all ruined .
The fact that Junior’s death opened the murderers’ eyes and made them realize that they will be going to prison for life made them have regret all of it; all they felt was regret and fear, and there was not a single person that felt pity for them.
Cardi B donated $8,000 to help out Junior’s family. Also other celebrities sent out condolences to his family. Even though a lot of people didn’t know Junior, they all still felt horrible and hurt about what happened to that 15 year old boy. He was a normal kid that never got in trouble and always did good in school. And #JusticeForJunior became one of the most trending hashtags on Instagram and Twitter in June.
