Mark Salling, a former “Glee” star whose career came crashing down after he was caught with possession of child pornography, died on January 30, 2018.

He was found by the Los Angeles River, and local police stated that Salling’s death is being investigated as a suicide. He is the second Glee start to meet an early end; Cory Monteith, 31, died in 2013 of a heroin overdose.  Salling was expected to receive up to seven years in prison for the porn as a part of a plea deal. Police found more than 50,000 images on his computer, and Salling’s sentencing was scheduled for March.
