Keep Robin Hood Fiction

Everyone knows the fictional story of Robin Hood: steal from the rich and give to the poor. Robin Hood may be seen as the hero of the story, but who’s to say if he’s politically correct or not? Is it really right to steal from the rich to help the poor? The Democrats of the political party seem to think so. Democrat Bernie Sanders proposes to increase the taxes of the richest Americans 90% more than normal taxpayers and put the money into programs such as welfare to help financially support people of lower incomes.

Democrats believe that everyone should share their money to help create financial equality in the country. Although this proposal will vastly help decrease homeless rates and even the government’s debt, it is not fair to the hard working citizens of this country who deserve their money because they went to school and worked their butts off, to have to give more money than everyone else to help support the lower end population who, for the most part, is made up of people who decided not to strive to get a good career or who sit around all day at home.

This proposal is unfair to the hardworking Americans and it should not be passed. I understand that low income families should be helped, but I don’t see it to be fair to take more money from the people working harder than them, then to give it to them. In life you get what you work for or deserve; it’s not a fictional story like Robin Hood.
