Storms Breakout in the South
January 26, 2017
At least 39 tornadoes have broken out all throughout the south just over this weekend, from Texas, to Florida. 21 deaths have since been discovered, and many more are missing. Georgia currently has 16 counties under a state of emergency, with many houses and businesses destroyed. Many homes that are still left standing have no running electricity or water. Severe weather conditions have caused approximately 750 flights to be canceled. As of now, emergency crews are still on the look out for every and any survivors through the wreckage. Officials begged President Donald Trump to send aid. Federal assistance was to be sent to the three states that have been most-affected by the weather. This storm is now heading over the northeast, expecting: high winds, heavy rain and possible flooding up the coastline possibly into the ocean.
