Flashback: Name This Sahuaro Teacher

Giselle Enriquez, Editor-In-Chief

Gru? No, no, no it’s just Mr. Davis! Mr. Davis is a highly regarded mathematics teacher known for his cynical humor and love for The Raiders. Mr. Davis attended the University of Arizona for his undergraduate degree and Northern Arizona University for his graduate. He has been a teacher for 32 years now and his past students vary from Sahuaro’s Assistant Principal, Ms. Hurley, and English teacher, Mr. Harkin. Throughout his years of teaching, he has inspired students to amount to more than what they thought was possible. “My favorite part of teaching is the interaction with my students,” Mr. Davis stated. “I truly care about my students succeeding in their academic pursuits and career choices.”

In my last hurrah of high school (A.K.A. Senior Year) I have been fortunate enough to have Mr. Davis as a teacher. He has reminded me of what it’s like to have a teacher who believes in you and only hopes to see you achieve your goals. Here are some fun questions answered by the beloved Mr. Davis:
