Surenady Payne, a sophomore, aspires to pursue a career as a lawyer or surgeon in the future, driven by a long-standing focus on professional development since the age of 7. Motivated by a desire to advocate for those in need, she is embarking on her inaugural year with The Paper Cut to convey new experiences and events unfolding at Sahuaro. Exhibiting a fervent passion for writing, she aims to cast light on daily observations and offer insight into a range of subjects, particularly social issues and influential figures within her community.
As the eldest of 5 children, she embraces the role of an older sister, finding fulfillment in guiding and witnessing the growth of her younger siblings. Surenady has a diverse music taste and enjoys various genres, but she particularly likes rap, hip hop, country, and rock ‘n’ roll. Her music taste is an important part of her self-expression. Similarly, her fashion sense is diverse, and she enjoys experimenting with unique styles that reflect her individuality.
