The Sand Bar on Tybee Island located in Georgia is known as the "dollar-bill bar" because for years now the customers would write notes on the bills and staple them to the walls of the bar. However, this year Jennifer Knox, owner of the bar, and some volunteers spent days removing the bills and giving them to out-of-work employees. Of course, with help from the bank, they were able to clean off the bills allowing each member to have $600! "It was emotional and beautiful," Knox told Insider.
