Q: What is the best and worst part of high school so far?

A: My favorite part so far has been meeting new people and having many new experiences. The worst part has been some of the community at Sahuaro and big problems being ignored around campus. Other then that, I’m loving high school.

Q: Are you a part of any extracurricular activities at Sahuaro?

A: Yes! I am a part of the marching band and play the flute.

Q: What type of music do you listen to? Favorite artist?

A: I listen to all kinds of music genres with no specific favorites, but my favorite artist would be Trippie Red.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: Free time? Never heard of it….well when I’m not doing band things, I love to sleep and enjoy my alone time.

Q: What do you want to do after high school?

A: I want to go to college of course but besides that, I haven’t really thought out my future. I just hope I get a job I enjoy and get paid good.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher at Sahuaro?

A: My favorite teacher is my English teacher Mr. Smith! He’s inspiring and extremely helpful to others even if it’s just a small deed. He’s super motivational and even though it’s his first year as a teacher, he’s one of the best I’ve ever had.

Q: If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?

A: I would go to everybody I’ve ever talked to and everyone I care about and give them a hug because I wouldn’t want to leave them empty-handed.

Q: What do you want to achieve by the end of freshman year?

A: To stay in my place and not take the wrong direction in life. I just want to thrive and be the best me I can be.

Q: What’s your biggest fear?

A: My biggest fear is not finding true love before I die. I want to be able to die knowing that I have made somebody as happy as I could make myself.

Q: What was the biggest change from middle school to high school?

A: The biggest change would be realizing how much more responsibility we have. It just gets more serious from here on out and I can’t go at my own pace anymore, I just have to hit it and keep going with no stop.

Q: If you could change the world, how would you?

A: I would make changes to the law and make things equal for everybody. I would strive to let us live in a world that doesn’t have to deal with struggles like climate change and inequality.
