Coachella Weekend 2- Beliebers Get Treat for First Time in Two Years
April 25, 2019
Coachella 2019 is a festival music industry fans won’t forget. Justin Bieber, who took a step back from music for the past two years, finally performed on one of the most popular stages, Coachella…with the queen of pop, Ariana Grande, who had an Easter treat for Beliebers this weekend.
Justin acted completely surprised. “I haven’t been on stage in like two years. I came out here, I had no idea I was going to be on stage tonight…So anyways this is my first time on stage in two years. I had to get my groove back, my swag back. By the way – album coming soon.” He then tweeted the next morning, “Thank you Ariana Grande. Thank you Coachella. That felt right. Love you.”
It was a big deal for Justin since he hasn’t performed in a good minute. He was really excited and felt good about himself for the first time in a while during and after the performance. He just loved the feeling of reconnecting with his fans once again since the last time he performed was in Manchester after the terrorist attack during Ariana’s concert in May 2017.
Justin has recently been struggling with his mental health that led him to stop performing for a while but is “slowly getting back to feeling normal.”
The special guests that Ariana Grande brought out for both weekends had everyone shook. The first weekend of Coachella, she brought out NSYNC (minus Justin Timberlake), Nicki Minaj, Diddy and Mase. Nicki Minaj had some technical difficulties with hearing herself, but she tried her best to sing the lyrics. The second weekend Ariana wasn’t planning to bring any guest out until she heard that Justin Bieber was at the festival.
So far Ariana Grande at age 25, is the youngest person ever and fourth woman to headline Coachella. She is also the first person to get hit by a lemon by a Beyoncé fan because she got paid more than Beyoncé, who performed last year at Coachella.
Another performance that had everyone shook was the Tame Impala, especially the second weekend when they brought out A$AP Rocky on stage singing “Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?” from his single “Sundress.”
